Tracey & Mark
Mark is a secondary school principal who is the Program Director for Wellspring’s Whole School Development Program. Tracey is a maternity nurse who has helped her family to adapt to a new culture, has taught prenatal classes, and is seeking other nursing opportunities. We are enjoying our family adventure and continue to be excited for what God has in store for us and our four children!
Hi Mark and Tracey,
I wish you and your children all the best in this new, exciting and very giving adventure. You and your family will be in my prayers.
Shirley Aschwanden -Williams Lake
Hi guys,
Our family is praying for you as the time to leave is amazingly close! You are on our fridge and we are daily thinking of all that you have to do to finish the final preparation!
When you are in London, you must go to the British Museum, it was a highlight for our family. Try to get down to the basement and eat your lunch there… we did and it was amazing! We were sitting right where the Roman soldiers had had their horses in stalls, and there is still brickwork from those stalls there!
We pray for smooth flights and no problems of any sort in the airports!
What an adventure!

Hey Thiessens!
We are looking forward to having you with us in Kigali!
We know this is a busy time and we are praying for you…
Blessings

Hi Mark & Tracey,
I want to initiate my first blog contact and let you know that I commit to pray for you and the kids every week. I have you on my cork board in front of me at the office to remind me. I’m not a blogger but I have put this into my favourites and will also keep in touch.

Hi guys,
I wanted the kids to know that pinkie is settled in happily and Jacob loves her. I wanted to add what a blessing it was to get pinkie, because every time I interact with her I think of you and your wonderful family and the incredible journey that you are on, which is an inspiration to be a better person myself.
Lots of love,
Trina
Hi guys,
Mom just gave me the information for the blog. I just want to let you know that I am praying for you and your kids. Enjoy your time there. It will fly by quickly. God Bless.

Hell to all of you,
We have all been thinking of your family. When I look at the pictures and read your stories, I feel such excitement for all of you. You are a brave and adventurous family and I wish I was there with you. Who knows- maybe we will see each other? Do you guys have a direct email? If so- could you give me a quick note. Michael would really like to connect. He is getting itchy to come over…… It is not quite the same in the school district without you Mark. You are definately missed. Tons of love- Karen and family
Hi Mark and Tracy,
I trust you guys are well!

Hi Everyone,
So neat to go to this website and see pictures of all of you and hear how your time there is becoming more and more meshed w/the lives of the people there. Keep up the GOOD work and we continue to PRAY for you when lifes hick-ups get a bit unbearable at times. Know that others are thinking of youl

We had a wonderful read through your many adventures thus far. You are missed! However, your BLOG helps to keep us close. Great job, great photos!
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
Things are beginning to “shape-up” for the upcoming torch night parade. A figure skating performance with Ashley and six others during first and second period of the Timberwolves game on Tuesday. Handing out of gizzmoes and gadgets with the Bluefins Swim Club, on Thursday, as people enter the Stampede grounds for the anticipated performances honouring the Olympic Torch. (Hope the weather holds! We’re currently at +3, next Thursday is supposed to be -16!)
Tracey and Ashley say a big hello to Brooklyn, Raeyden to Sam and all of us to all of you.
Take Care.

Hi Mark and Tracey!
I’m taking a year off next year and thinking about going /coming to Africa! I have a few questions about traveling safety and such (have to keep the parents sleeping at night). Do you have an email address I can reach you at? Sorry, this is the only way I could find! I’m loving your blog though! Very entertaining!
Monica
Hi Mark and Tracey,
I am formerly Carol Joy Penner of Williams Lake.
My Mom, Nettie Penner, mentioned that you were going to Rwanda and just recently brought a newspaper article from the Tribune here which also contained the blog address.
I have been enjoying randomly reading about your life there in Africa. I feel like I am getting to know you a little.
You have really been blessed to be able to have your parents available to come for visits.
God bless you in your life there.
Carol for the family
Now I can keep up to date with the discussions in the office, lol, I hope your adventure continues as you hope. Brenda
